"Your hair is so... black."

Posted on 3:22 PM
Well, what do you know?

My hair is officially black.

If you guys didn't know- it used to be dark brown with red underneath, but I soon grown tired of it.

I went to the salon like two days ago and want it completely light brown, but the lady said that you will still be able to see. I kept flipping through the pages of the colors until I got completely upset with myself to the point to where I just want it black.

Note to self: Never dye hair again.

Black looks okay on me. I sort of like it. Its just my friends that need to get used to it.

Anyways; these past days everyone has been talking about going to Jelani's house on Friday. Something about playing video games. My friend, Ariel, even asked me if I was going. I just told her:

"I wasn't invited."

Now, most of you don't know this, but my grandfather lives with and is very limited in so many ways. Meaning I have to do things for him and such. Today especially because he had to go to the hospital and I had to pick him up. (He told me ahead of time.)

Point is- I knew I probably couldn't go to Jelani's video game night, but he should have atleast asked me.

But then again it's probably some kind of friend boy thing. Ariel practically begged me to go because she was going to be the only girl there.

Nonetheless, I'm not too beat up about it. I mean, I do have a party to go to tomorrow.

It's not one of those big flashy parties. It's for my mom's friend's son's birthday party. He's turning one. (Awww!)

At first, I didn't want to go because I thought it was only going to be a kiddie party, but then I learned that later on into the night, they are going to stuff all the kids in a room and only the older ones get to have some fun.

Even so, knowing me, I probably just sit in a corner with the kids and just listen to music. I probably won't know anyone one there and if I just started dancing with some random person, I'm sure Genesis (my sister) will bound to tell Jelani.

Note to self: Stay away from guys tomorrow.

I pretty much have my outfit and stuff pciked out tomorrow, I just don't know what to do with this hair of mine. It seems so weird since I dyed it. I hope I can find something to with it by tomorrow before I'm stuck with a ponytail.

Tomorrow morning, though, my aunt said she was going to take my sisters and I to iHop for breakfast. I've only been to iHop like once in my life and that was with Jelani on Valentine's day. Even though I was so tempted to buy breakfast (at like 4 in the afternoon) I decided on this grilled chicken sandwhich stuff. It was pretty good except for the tomatoes. Jelani said they were just grilled, but they looked like old, wrinly, rotten red turds to me.

Oh- and today at English was so painful. Literally. We had a sub today and Ariel and I were just so happy. I blame the cookie Matthew gave me at lunch. Anyways, Ariel and I started playing that hand slapping game. Soon enough, Akeem, came in and decided to widen it up. Pretty soon it was a whole circle of people just slapping eachother's hands. After a while, I stood out. I couldn't take it anymore. My hand to sooo red. Ariel, on the other hand, did not give up. There was all these big guys hitting eachother anf then you see little Ariel in the middle.

To make a long story short: Her hands got swollen.

Hm.

That's pretty much all of it that happened today.

I'll probably just do some writing and figure out how to handle this hair of mine.

The joys of being a girl .

Well, due to my bangs, Chris just couldn't stop saying how adorable I was. I didn't really see how, but he kept making it clear.

The thing that really bugged me about Chris today though was his glove. He only had one and the fingers got cut off. I first, I thought it was cool, but then I saw Manny with them, too.

Is this some new style?

Speaking of style- I just got done trying on my new clothes. I mom got her tax money back and gave me 200 dollars to go shopping.

Well, I had a blast. I brought sooo much stuff and still got money left over.

I was thinking about going to the hair salon tomorrow, but I think I can't because I have to stay for chess.

The funny thing about chess is that we don't even play chess at all. They should call it domino club because that is basically all we play.

I did, however, play scrabble last time with Chris, Miriam, Deborah and I. Pretty fun for my first time.

Amanda also wanted to show me her new husky puppies after school. She was going to run home fast and come back with them. The thing is- I don't know if I'll be let back in the building afterwards.

I might just leave early, see the puppies and go do my hair.

:]

The thing I was thinking of buying was a tote bag. Something to put my stuff in for school instead of using the bookbag I had since who knows what grade. After seeing Nicole with cute Hello Kitty one, I just have to get one.

And maybe some shoes. Shoes would be nice. Like flates...

I cut bangs on my sister, Genesis, as well. She is like girly challenged so I decided to do her a favor. She liked it.

I've never felt this girly myself to tell you the truth. Just let myself go with the flow on things, but I seriously really needed this. Treating myself, I mean. Really helped brighten up my mood.

It's alive !

Well, actually, I'm still alive.

I can't beleive I forgot about this blog. I remember how important it used to be to me and now it will continue to be so.

:]

Well, how about a little update, eh?

Well, Jelani and I are still together! Woot! 2 months actually and I've never felt happier. He just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

The only thing that's not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling is that winter break is almost over.

-_-;

I pretty much finished all those dumb packets and was going to get on here yesterday, but my mom needed my help at work.

She basically works for this rich lady whos hobby is throwing large dinner parties. She basically warned my mom that this one was going to be worst than the others. So, you know what my mom plans on doing? Dragging me along!

At the beginning- everything was going smoothly, but once the guests started arriving we were way over our heads. I didn't know such a little group of people could use so many plates and cups.

Ugh.

Anyways, at the end of the day I got fifty dollars from her. I felt like I deserved more, but I left it at that.

On our way to the train station, I saw the most beautiful store in the world.

Barnes & Nobles <3

This is what a brought:

All of these books are by one of my favorite authors L. J. Smith.

Read her books! I promise they are worth it!

But anways- back to my story.

Once I came home I was sooo tired that I fell out automatically.

Thankfully my sisters weren't here so I got to sleep with no interruptions. :3

The only true interruption that I got today, however, was the repairman.

He came to finally fix my bedroom door and the light in our bathroom. (Yes, my apartment is falling apart.)

He did a great job, though. I know have my own privacy!

:D

But after that, the day was going by so slowly so...

I decided to cut in some bangs!

I was actually terrified to cut my hair. Wondering-

"What if I cut it too short?! What if it doesn't turn out the way I want it to?!"

But, rest assured, that they came out wonderfully.

Maybe I should be a hair stylist?

=/

Anyways, I'm off for the day, but I promise you- I will be updating more often.

:]

Sadie.
